speed bar problem. only the heading is showing. - realflier117 - 01.02.2010

Hi all,

I would appreciate it greatly if somebody could help me out with this problem.

Just a day ago I had the speed bar at the bottom left hand corner display the speed, altitude and heading.

Then today when I started up the game it is only showing the heading in that same speed bar area.

I have no idea what I did to cause that, I wasn't fooling around with my installation, but I must have done something inadvertent.

Does anyone know how to control that speed bar and what it displays?

Thanks in advance.

go to your reality settings, there are all kind of options you can choose, when the light is on, the option is enabled, i suggest you go to the option show speed or something, and your problem will be solvedSmile

sorry for bad english, im DutchTongue

Question 1:
Be it "Quick Mission Builder" or hosting an online game, you'll always have the "Difficulty" button to use. Press it, jump to page 2 and look up
the very last setting, called "No Speedbar". If it's light is on, you'll only see your course in the HUD. Switch it off and you'll have speed & height back.

Question 2:
Start game -> "Controls" -> scroll down and find "Toggle Speed Bar" -> if no key assigned, assign one -> remember -> use and cycle thru settings.
Thus you switch between - km/h // KIAS // mph // off -

yes i know that but in your conf.ini there are lines you can add that will permanently have it set to English standard.

thanks dudes - realflier117 - 02.02.2010
