SAS Mods + AAA Mods =I need a guide - Guest - 02.02.2010
Hello all I already have many existing AAA and a few SAS mods(mostly planes) on my 4.08 game with Mod Activator 5.2 and Aircraft Installer 3.9 (which allows me to use some SAS planes, and which isn't out yet,and may never be released) But my problem is I want to use some of the newest planes from SAS but they require SAS buttons 4.1 and up(NOT the mod pack UP) etc and Aircraft Installer 3.9 isnt equivelant to SAS buttons 4.1 and up(NOT the mod pack UP).
What I need is someone to explain how to Use the SAS buttons and mod activator etc that Will let me use all of my existing mods and the new SAS mod planes that I want that require their latest buttons.
I need A step by step process of going from my existing 4.08 with AAA buttons etc to SAS buttons etc that will still let me use my existing mods from both AAA and SAS.
Or just starting over with a clean 4.09 And adding all my existing mod planes etc to a clean 4.09 using SAS buttons etc.
I will try to understand the SAS guide and will also post this on SAS. All help is Greatly appreciated.
And BTW dont post things like "Just get UP or HSFX" because Im NOT doing that!
Thanks :? :-? :???:

Just backup your existing buttons file.
Mine is in root/MODS/STD/gui/game --- but yours may be somewhere else.
Copy in the latest SAS Buttons to the same location.
Ensure that all your existing planes are working before trying to add any new ones -- they should work fine.

only hting i would sya is that there is a chance you'll lose some sounds as some of the aircraft in the sas buttons files reassign where sounds come from. There is a fix though, but those aircraft affected might return to their default sounds.
