which .sfs file for F4U-1/Corsair MkI cockpits - -)-MAILMAN- - 07.02.2010

I want to edit the cockpit file for the gun sight in both the F4U-1 and the Corsair Mk I. I have already corrected (removed the mask and replaced it with the default mask so I can see the entire reticule) all of the other corsairs and placed it in the mods folder. I just can't find the cockpit for either the F4U-1 or the Corsair MkI after using the sfs extractor tool to look at every fb_3doXX.SFS file and every fb_hfx3doXX.sfs file. If someone could direct me to which file it would be appreciated.

Thankyou VPMEDIA, but

This only gets me the files for 3DO\Plane\CorsairMkI(Multi)

What I need to get is 3DO\Cockpit\CorsairMkI or F4UCORSAIR1 or F4U-1 or something like this and it is not in this .sfs file.

And the files I need to find are something like this:

front.tga
Reticle.mat
Z_Z_MASK.msh
X_Z_RETICLE.msh
ZOil.mat

These are the USN/USMC gun sights in the un-modded and modded game for Wildcats, Corsairs & Hellcats.

Stock 4.09m Game:

F4F-3 - N3 70-75 mil broken circle reticule
F4F-4 - MK VIII 100 mil reticule
FM2 - MK VIII 100 mil reticule
Corsair Mk I - MK VIII 100 mil reticule
F4U-1A & Corsair Mk II - MK VIII 100 mil reticule
F4U-1C - MK VIII 100 mil reticule
F4U-1D & Corsair Mk IV - MK VIII 100 mil reticule
F6F-3 - MK VIII 100 mil reticule
F6F-5 - MK VIII 100 mil reticule

When Hsfx history mod is activated:

F4F-3 - MK VIII 100 mil reticule
F4F-4 - MK VIII 100 mil reticule
FM2 - MK VIII 100 mil reticule
F4U-1 & Corsair Mk I - N3 70-75 mil solid circle reticule
F4U-1A & Corsair Mk II - MK VIII 100 mil reticule

F4U-1D & Corsair Mk IV - MK VIII 100 mil reticule
F6F-3 - MK VIII - 100 mil reticule
F6F-5 - MK VIII - 100 mil reticule

When Hsfx history mod & Default Reticles mod enabled in JSGME Generic Mod Enabler

F4F-3 - N3 70-75 mil broken circle reticule
F4F-4 - MK VIII 100 mil reticule
FM2 - MK VIII 100 mil reticule
F4U-1 & Corsair Mk I - N3 70-75 mil solid circle reticule

So something in the Hsfx History Mod is overriding everything to do with the F4U-1 and Corsair MkI reticules.

Now in IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\jsgmemods\Hsfx history mod\files I find these entries:

I did find this in the IL-2 Sturmovik 1946/Files/.preload

@preload aircraft.cockpit.prs

where might aircraft.cockpit.prs be?

And this in files.sfs

com.maddox.il2.objects.air.F4U

I managed to get the Mk VIII reticule to show, but I can't get rid of the orange circle and it shows up just inside the close range circle of the Mk VIII.

Any idea how to get rid of that orange circle?
