Hurricanes over Vaenga- No.151 Wing "Force Benedict&quo - Mysticpuma - 08.02.2010

I created this image for the two pilots shown, Wing Commander Tim Elkington (Flying Officer then) and Sergeant Eric Carter. It depicts their Hurricanes flying at sunset over Vaenga in Russia, where No.81 and 134 Squadron were part of "Force Benedict" during 1941, helping to fight the Luftwaffe with Russian pilots.
