According to my latest email, this patch is worth having.

It contains "recompiled SFS that corrected an issue with the scaled ships from the shippacks Damage Model"

Good patch. Installs without a hitch, though I would recommend backing up your game's config.ini first- for some reason it reset mine to defaults. Even if you're not doing SEOW, I think it's a good idea to stay current with these if you're using HSFX.

Is there a download of hsfx 4.11 that is not "torrent" as I currently do not use this for any of my downloads. For the 4.0 and 4.1 downloads it was available both as a "standard" downlaod and a "torrent" download

Yes, just install it right over 4.1. There is also a new hotfix for 4.11, which enables cumulative damage to ships by human players. See here;
