Dambusters, it's old but it's good. Looking forward to Peter Jackson's remake.

- HH_Cipher - 13.02.2010

Pearl Harbour, Even though its horribly inaccurate.

Tora! Tora! Tora! historically extremely accurate and not biased or prejudiced... One of the best of its genre.

And of course Battle of Britain. Second best Wink

LoL, I had totally forgotten about Tora, Tora, Tora until you posted that. If your gonna list that it can't be without "Midway", another classic. The reason I like BoB so much is because it conveys the confusion and chaos of air combat so well. Not such a straight forward affair as is seen in other movies. "The Flying Leathernecks" is pretty good too, accept for the Hellcat for Wildcat substitute. Tongue

I like the Battle of Britain best, then Tora,Tora, Tora and then Midway.

The Memphis Belle and The Tuskeegee Airmen were good too.

Twelve O'clock High is by far and away the best WWII aviation movie. BUT, most will dismiss it because it really doesn't have wall to wall aerial sequences. But it has an incredible story line, is great drama and well acted.

Some of the 1940s aviation film are good too if only for the planes featured.

A Guy Named Joe - lots of P-38s and B-26s as Betty bombers. Good movie too.

Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo - Doolittle Raid

Command Decision - somewhat like Twelve O'clock High

God is My Co Pilot - Lots of P-40s.

Black Sheep Squadron. What a waste of film. What did one aviation magazine call it? Oh yeah, Gidget Goes For an Airplane Ride. It has not aged well.

Any documentary.
