Making a mod can be as simple as making a copy of something that exists and going into the file of the copy to manually change numbers...

Making your own map, objects, and planes using the AutoDesk program called 3D Studio Max...

and everything in between those two.

Many guys use freeware and open source programs. The use of GIMP is popular with IL-2 fans.

We need more information: what kinds of mods do you want to create? There are Forums for those categories of mods and you would get better help in those Forums where appropriate.

Hi there again

A mod that what I am thinking of is a il2 version of over flanders fields (a ww1 mod of cfs3). Thats what I am thinking of a mod.
