Spitfire MkI Crash on Take-off - kookaburra - 27.02.2010

I have 4.09 installed with HSFX. Whenever I select an offline campaign flying the Spitfire MkI using Cannons Channel map I encounter the following problems. On loading of a mission I get an error message "afd error" when the mission initially loads. When sitting on the ground ready for take-off the terrain appears to wobble rather like jelly and no matter what handling technique I apply the Spitfire noses over half way through the take-off run. I have not encountered this problem with any other aircraft type, Hurricane, P51, Bf109 etc. The only way I can get airborne is to use the auto-pilot. Once airborne there are no other problems with the simulation. Can anyone provide me with advice on how to rectify this as my self esteem is taking a battering..

I have the same problem you do,so don't think that it's just you and your flying ability.It may just be a problem with Spit MK1 mod.

Thanks Gumpy, makes me feel better. It is a pity, though, as I feel like I'm cheating using the autopilot to take off, it kinda ruins the immersion in what are otherwise excellent campaigns.
