What to Do?? - XLO-JOKER - 27.02.2010

Alright guys, its taken me awhile, but I finally got HSFX 4.0 and 4.1 downloaded to my puter. Problem is, I'm not sure what to do. I have 1 vanilla install of 4.09, and one install running the UP 2.0 mod. any suggestions or opinions on what I do next? Do I uninstall all of it and install HSFX over a fresh install of 4.09, or could I delete the UP modded folder and install HSFX over my vanilla install? Just need some opinions, suggestions, guidence, etc...... Thanks for any replies all.

Why not make another copy of your vanilla 4.09 and install HSFX over it?

Anyhow, UP 2.0 includes HSFX with the switcher, so it's 6 of one, half a dozen of the other.

I have a 'Base Line' version of IL-2 patched to 4.09m(Final) in a directory called IL-2 1946 Baseline. I then copied that whole directory 2x to two other directories. One called IL-2 1946 UP 2.0 and one called IL-2 1946 HSFX.

This way I always have a Baseline version to use for emergencies in case one of my other installs gets messed up or corrupted.

S!

You are going to need the baseline version soon anyways, to install the next official patch ver. 4.10 to. It's due to be released pretty soon.
