Early War Spitfires - Kristorf - 28.02.2010
Slowly getting a Spitfire MkI/IIa template together and have decided to (possibly) do a pack of Pre and early BoB skins, starting with this one.
Also doing some 'Sky' under sided ones (this marked as CM as a test bed)

Its a gas detection patch.
After WWI there was a real fear of gas being used. These patches changed colour if it was detected.

Chris, there was a similar pack to this done on M4T. It was a lovely pack, but some of the skins were very generic, as they all used similar templates for the roundels. However, this particular pack captured the camolauge colours perfectly. It might be worth looking into this, as I really love the camoflauge shade that is present in your lower pic, as it is quite a close match to that in the pack I mentioned
EDIT-loking more at the pics, the last two look beautiful; you've captured the camo in that perfectly

I did a 'similar pack' and uploaded to M4T
Anyhow, did this one as well.
