HSFX and torpedoes= torpedo broken on enty into water - aksuduud - 01.03.2010
I have disabled the advanced torpedo mod via JSGME cause i tought it caused the torpedo's to do that but now that it's disabled i still get that message when i drop torpedoes. Atleast i would like to know the height&speed you must drop torpedoes to get them working.

I frequently use TBF:
15 to 20 feet.
80/85 mph.

it is historical....torpedo runs in any airplane usually had to be done low and slow...
thats why you never saw any plans for a me262-torp. :lol:

Isn't there like a "sweet spot"; you go to high or to fast the torpedo breaks up, to low or to slow the splash from the torpedo damages your plane?

i encounterd this bug from HSFX when the "torpedo arming and bomb fusing mod" was on by default. i could not get the mod to disable i finnaly had to get the hash files from a buddy that had is disbaled and copy them over mine.
i got that message no matter what plane , no matter what torpedo, no matter what speed or alt.

Never had this problem before with torpedoes and I use HSFX like you do, which version are you using ??

No, but there was a Focke Wulf 190 torpedo bomber..
still a pretty damn fast plane with nasty stall characteristics

Im using HSFX 4.1 with the torpedo mod turned off and im so annoyed! I want to burn those tankers!

I also have this mod turned of on JSGME but it continues to require the realistic torpedo fusing. Is there a way to disable this mod?
