I think you need to locate the patch for direct to drive versions before you can use UP or HSFX. should be available here and over at SAS

Yes, also, for the sake of anyone reading this, the patch must be applied for any digital download version.

Apply the digital download patch directly to the 4.08m.

i still get the error

when i install i do
1 add the D2D patch
2 install 4.09
3 get the mg_snd_sse.dll and mg_snd.dll out of the D2D patch rar
4 try to install HSFX

The third line is a NO. Do not remove anything from any downloaded parts. Keep all parts, folders and files.
