A Mod Map Mystery - Riptide_One - 12.03.2010

I am working with Agracier on populating one of his maps and have ran into a problem that neither of us can solve. When I attempt to load this map into FMB, instead, I get the following error notice: "Section [MAP 2D] not found in maps/ag_Hankow/load_1024.ini". Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Cheers,

Riptide

I found it can happen when the all.ini info is calling on the wrong load.ini name
or the name of a load.ini that is not in the map folder,or bad spelling in the name of the load.ini entry in the all.ini

Always been a simple editing error that I have found that causes the [Map 2D] can't be found error,
if the load.ini name and all.ini info has not changed since last time it loaded,I would say it is an editing mistake inside the load.ini itself then that is causing it.
Switching to a backup load.ini should cure it then and if the map loads then all that would be needed is to compare the good backup load.ini with the load.ini that gives the Map 2D error to be able to find where the problem is.

But usually,it is from the all.ini calling on a load.ini that is missing or the wrong load.ini or a load.ini that is spelled wrong in the name in the all.ini info

Not sure if any of these things may be your problem, but there something to check anyway

Easy

Thanks, I'll look into that - Riptide_One - 12.03.2010

Easy,

Thanks for giving me something to try. This sounds like a simple fix. I'll let you know what happens.

Cheers,
