First time at IL2 mods, Please Help!! - JetlinerXPilotXFSX - 14.03.2010

Hello AAA-

So I have the downloaded a digital version of IL2, and i have installed 4.08 and 4.09, and i want to get the HSFX pack. My firend is trying to help me, but his installed perfectly the first time, and I have had alot of touble. After installing the HSFX the first time, IL2 refused to open AT ALL. So I RE-INSTALLED and when I re-installed, it reinstalled WITH 4.09 already in, and started up fine. So I am guessing it has a 100% 4.09. I dont want to try the HSFX again, because re-installing is just NOT fun. Can anyone provide a STEP BY STEP guide on what I need to do in order to get HSFX working, and maybe some of the features HSFX has?

After installing your digital game did you use this patch.. (The link is inoperative) ...its a must for digi download , mods will not work without it.
