Roster gone - BoydTravers - 30.03.2010

Hey probally a easy fix. But I'm a nub at mods and stuff. Fixing stuff also. But yeah, my roster sheet disappeared. After a mission I went to check my stats and it was gone. I have DCG installed. I was wondering if it was something with that. Any help would be appreciated.

In DCG theres option to use DCG in IL2 or switch back to standard DGen.

toggle that in DCG and roster should re-appear.

Okay tried it and it ended up failing. I might have done the wrong thing. So heres just some pictures.

Sorry for causeing trouble.X_X

sorry but I actually think your roster is gone for good.

do you have backups of "users" folder?
this may recover it to the point when the backup was but otherwise it is gone.

once IL2 refuses to read the roster data recovery is seldom possible.

- BoydTravers - 30.03.2010

No but, the thing is a few minutes I should say missions before this happened the roster was there could read it and all. Then I just came back from one mission and it vanished. If it's the same problem I'll most likely just reinstall IL2 and all the mods but I would like to find a alternative if at all possible.

no need to reinstall. won't help either. not mod realted.

this is standrad behaviour. can hapen with DGen. when leaving the mission DGen tries to create the next upcoming one. when there is a hickup with DGen exe or the DCG replacement not being able to find to correct data (whatever reason...) it can screw up the careers roster for good. not recoverable.

has absolutely nothing to do with mods.
delete the pilot and create a new one. You will have to start all over again.

this is why I have several pilots, running DCG campaigns with sepcific ones so I can't screw up other running campaigns when "hickups" occur.
DCG tends to give me this too...

Alright thanks for the help
