Help I have stuffed up my Il2 file!! by installing a MOD - drewtwem - 03.04.2010

I have just tried to install Ranwars Spitfire MkXIVe/c MOD.

I following the instructions for the auto install and IL2 seemed to work fine but with no engine noise..

I promptly re-installed the new spitfire using the un-install package on here.

Now when I load up a flight in QMB with any aircraft it gets to 89% and this error comes up and I have to terminate the game

the error says: The instruction at "0x5ed0530e" referenced memory at "0x0000051c" The memory could not be "read"

can anyone help me on what file (s) I may have lost in puting the Spitfire XIV mod on my system? so I can get the game running again!!??

thankyou.

any help would be great. (i run V.4.09b1)

This version is an obsolete unmodded version.

Your unmodded install should be v4.09m (with Team Diadalos logo)

On top of that you should install HSFX mods or UP2.0 mods --- which do you have?
