"Hi,
First viseo is from the game engine. WIP. Movements, colors of grass, leafs, etc are still not tuned. Was tuned but with the last changes of physics lights laws need to be tuned again. Later.
Second video is from viewer tools (will be posted during 30 min) "

That is just amazing
hock: But, I know it's WIP, I feel that the grass may be blowing a bit too fast...does anyone else agree?

Yup. Same here too. But relax, once it finally comes out, our systems will be ready.
That ongoing modding will keep you in pace!
Food for thought... - Fireskull - 23.04.2010
Philip.ed, I noticed the difference between the energy of the waving grass and the trees, too.
Attracting to Storm of War the kinds of buyers who will be the first person ground crews will mean much bigger sales, therefore much more money for aeroplane development in the long run. There will always be the option for the Storm of War owner to only fly in the simulation with AI and/or live pilots.
Adding first person driving of vehicles and tanks would make it much trickier for the live pilot to destroy the dodging-and pissy scared-people manning those things.
Can you imagine the fun that we will have in strafing while we watch the live drivers veer off the road, attempting to avoid destruction by crazy circles and hiding behind the nearest objects available!
We are seeing hints of realistic virtual war on the horizon.

Or to have flak gunners lead their targets. Panzers firing their main guns at scrambling planes...

Yes! Yes! Yes!
