Help! loading error - Bundook - 28.04.2010
Hi all
I get the following error when I try to load mission 29 in Kilroy campaign
Mission Loading Failed
_CannonDump01 not found
Can anyone help me with this?
I'm running IL2 1946 with UP2.0 on an XPS 1730 and Vista Ultimate 64 bit

Reinstall your game. Remember to back up your profile before doing that.

sorry for not getting back sooner.
It's only that one mission that gives the error Aurora, so I'll go with what KG64 says and leave the reinstall for now. I just hope that someone can illuminate this error for me.

I have got eff-SOUND_TigerMOD+flyby but it is not enabled, I have another mod (x_ZloyP_WeaponCtrl) which alters the same things. I'll disable this mod, see if that makes any difference and then report back.
No I'm afraid it still crashes out, it gets to around 50 - 60 % and then.... Perhaps someone will know a remedy.

I have 4 buttons files and i'm not really sure which is being used. They are:
(1) stored at ...JSGMEMODS\zHSFXSwitcher\.... ------ 1118 kb
(2) stored at ...JSGMEMODS\zHSFXAlternateFMs\..... ------ 1648 kb
(3) stored at ...FILES\GUI\GAME\ ------ 1683 kb
(4) stored at ...MODS\STD..... ------ 1689 kb
The first 2 are not enabled under JSGME but either of the other two could be active. Can you throw any light on this?

(4) will be used if the MODS folder is activated (without minus sign)
(3) will be used if MODS folder is inactivated (rename with minus sign)
(1) will be used if you use the JSGME and activate Hsfx History Mod
(2) will be used if you use the JSGME and activate the alternate FMs
That said, I've only seen this error associated with Tiger's Sound Mod, which adds a lot of bits into the Files folder. I'm not that familiar with the Tiger Mod, but it may come with its own buttons, too.
In any case, I'm not sure this has anything to do with buttons. I think it is something in that mission which you are missing, or rather something in that mission is missing something...

You could probably fix it by loading that mission (if you know where to find it) into the FMB, then save it. That might replace the problem aircraft (which probably predates the mod pack you use) with whatever is in your mod pack. No guarantee, though...

Sorry for delay.
er.... so what I do is check the aircraft in this mission and if any of them are not in any of the earlier missions change them for something else? That sounds logical. I'll give it a go and get back.

You were spot on BFS
It was the B25J-1NA Mitchell 1944, I changed it for B25J-22NA Mitchell, 1944 and it works. Cheers man.
