Hello as you all know Mission 4 today is full of mission to download and play,

BUT what if you are NEW and want to make your mark BY making MISSIONS

Well follow this and you'll be making missions simple as that!

Step 1
Open up Il-2, Done this?
Then Click on the Full Mission Builder

Step 2
Open any map (If using HSFX you get a lot more choice)
Now Zoom in, HOLD SHIFT AND LEFT MOUSE CLICK

Step 3
Hover over on View, Done this?
Click on OBJECTS and you will see a list similar to this:
Aircraft
Artillery
Infantry
Object
Ships
Ship Pack
Stationary Aircraft
Stationary Artillery
Stationary Objects
Stationary Ships
Stationary Ship Pack
Rockets
Targets
Home-bace

They all do AS they SAY

Step 4
Say you chose Stationary Aircraft Click on the Plane you want...
Lets say B-17 Flying Fortress 1943
No Place it where you like: Personally a Airfield
To Place HOLD DOWN CONTROL (Ctrl) and Left Click or press Insert (Ins)
Your B-17 will be selected Press ENTER to see it in a 3D view Click it again to return to Editing in 2D
To un-select you object, Right click anywhere and select un-Select
To delete, pres DELETE or Right click and Select DELETE

Step 5
WAYPOINTS
They are for Cars, Tanks, Planes Boats, Infantry ect, ect
You do step 5 BUT Click again and again to set a different Waypoint, you can set Height, Weapons Squadron, Skins, ect, ect (Planes ONLY)

Step 6
Select your plane, It will say PLAYER just click in the white box

Step 7
Save, to do this...

Call it something, ESCAPE WAKE was my one,
Click SAVE

Step 8
Click Play

Well Done you are ready to TEST YOU NEW MISSION

Step 9
To add a BRIEFING
Click on Conditions and go to to Brief (When you click on you mission you Brief will come up)
Write about you mission,
Time is The time of day for you mission, (It is a 24hour CLOCK)
Destruction is the damage of Towns, Villages, Citys, and Airfield, Good for a Stalingrad Mission

Step 10
IF YOU WANT TO CARRY PLANES OR START ON CARRIERS READ THIS
When you have your waypoints set for a mother plane,
Set a path for what ever plane the has or can be carried,
e.g TB-3 4-MR (SPB) and the I-16 (SPB)
Make a path for thr I-16 next to or and the same path as the TBM-33
Click target then click on and click on the I-16 (SPB) if you have selected the TB-3 4-MR (SPB)
Or TB-3 4-MR (SPB) if the I-16 (SPB) are selected
SAME FOR THE CARRIERS

I still can't make missions in Ultra Pack 2.1 (or before 2.0n) with Mistel attached under the FW-190 (can't remember the name). I can'"t control the FW 190 and it just goes berserk on the runway...Using the FMB of course!

Also problems with the I-16 attached under TBM-33's....

OK For YOU - Planemad - 07.05.2010

Some quick fixes:
The mother plane is TB-3 4-MR (SPB) and the I-16 has to be the (SPB) version too, type 18 or type 24.

If I make a Dogfight map, for online play even though I have set a home field either side of the front markers, they still appear grey and unclickable on the home field select screen.
Anyone got a tut for making dogfight maps?
