Request for a Gladiator Mk I - Doolittle81 - 30.05.2010

Request for a specific RAF Gladiator Mk I in desert camouflage, with Sqdn code letters and serial number. Color pictures can be provided. Will greatly appreciate help from experienced skinner. Would also need an RAF Gladiator in non-camoflage pre-war 1937-1938 timeframe.
Thanks for any consideration.

Just curious, what were the differences between Mk.1 and Mk.2

- Doolittle81 - 30.05.2010

Thanks for the quick responses. I could definitely use a skin of that pre-war Gladiator.

As for the desert camo version, the specific Scale Model which I would like to get a skin to match, as closely as possible, is this one, serial L8011 and Sqdn Code letters YK-O. I am working with a group on a movie about a South African Ace, Pat Pattle. YK-O was his 80 Sqdn aircraft in North Africa.

Note that the Sqdn Code letters are aligned somewhat differently on the port side of the fuselage.

I'll give it a shot.

Quick Q, Are there any under wing decals? (I can't tell from your pic)

I'll get that info ASAP. I do know the underside is 'sky blue', but I'll get you more details.

Do you happen to know the name (or color code) for the brown in the pics? looks a bit like pinkish brown to me...

Well I've done the skin all I need are the colors & confirmation on under wing markings.

Ive made 3 Camo's to see if you liked any:

The General skin ( I did my best to match the skin to the pics you provided)

Camo 1

Camo 2

Camo 3

I think you can get whant you want from here:

Usually, when I want a skin I check M4T or www.flightsimfiles.com and mostly find what I am looking foe.

Thanks Vpmedia. Those links were helpful. Not quite what I was looking for, but I was able to use them...just a technical detail on Serial numbers and the two squadrons, 33 and 80.

SickLittlePuppy has offered great assitance via PM and email, for which I am especially grateful.
