Chaps, first of all, I'd like to congratulate you all for getting the site up and running. Bloody brilliant, especially salvaging all the threads, I thought we'd lost them! However, on the other hand, I was thinking:
It might be a good opportunity since you're all starting afresh to prune some of the many, many threads this site has. A lot of spray and pray is quite unecessary I should think, a lot of discussion threads are now defunct too. A more streamlined site would save on costs and have the benefit of making the search system less confusing.

We got rid of much so far and are still working on it.

My suggestion would be to re-enable or make a new Most Recent Post Scroll at top of the home page: that truly one of the most distinctive
and useful feature of the old site. There is no hurry in this... you are
already WAY ahead in you're time and efforts...

Yes I also really want the scrolling posts back, make life alot easier and I too have lost about 200 of my posts during transition, no biggy, I hope.

Most posts lost were in spray-and pray, so any of us who've been here for a long time will have lost a fair number
