BETTY & Ohka - How do they meet? - Dietz - 23.06.2010
I wanted to set up a simple intercept mission of F-6-f's & 1945 ( I guess) Betty's with Ohka's's ,but I'm finding that neither year Betty has a Baku option at least in HSFX4.1 install. I remember a long time ago someone else was trying to figure this out , but don't remember how it was resolved. I did a search for Baku, but with no luck... :oops:
Is default with the 1945 Beety complete with the Ohka?

Put the same waypoints for bettys and ohkas, then just target ohka for the betty and betty for the ohka with the target select tool in the aircraft's waypoints window. To release it just add a gattack waypoint for the betty. The betty has to be the later one without bombs.

1.) Is there an easy way to set the formation shape of the Bette's? In other words get them in a tight V without having to place them thay way one at a time?
2.) I've never had to place planes on a crrier deck ( I know , Iknow- where have I been..?) Is this done the same way- I mean target the carrier? How do they arrange themselves n deck?

In the final waypoint put GAttack and target the ship. I've been able to put formation of 4 ohkas on formation of 4 bettys.

Any ideas of how to get the Bettes in a large V formation? :?:

No idea about the formation, but the planes on the carrier use the same way; set takeoff waypoint, then drag it a bit away from the carrier, then set the carrier as the target.
