Martin B-26 Marauder - fender44 - 03.07.2010

Just thought i would ask...is anyone working on the Martin B-26 Marauder? One of my favorite Aircraft.

Re: Martin B-26 Marauder - madcat - 03.07.2010

Some one was working on the B-26, but I think its dead now

Re: Martin B-26 Marauder - fender44 - 03.07.2010

That's a shame....it would be a great addition.

Re: Martin B-26 Marauder - dunkelgrun - 03.07.2010

With a bit of luck it'll get picked up again - that and an early B-24 would be just the ticket.

Re: Martin B-26 Marauder - madcat - 03.07.2010

er... I think a different person was working on the early B-24 and 3D wise I think it was all most finished a wile back, but don't know whats happened since then???

Re: Martin B-26 Marauder - Monguse - 04.07.2010

I'm still working on the B24D. As for the B26 someone else picked it up

Excellent, monguse, looking forward to it.

Re: Martin B-26 Marauder - Murph - 04.07.2010

Monguse, has someone other than RAFLeigh picked up the B 26? His last post concerning this on the RAF662 site was late last October- he pretty much said at the time that he was not going to do it after all.
It would be great to have this plane even as AI, it's absence in European scenarios is greatly felt.

Re: Martin B-26 Marauder - Monguse - 04.07.2010

yes another has started it

Thank you Monguse, that's encouraging news.

I have been feeling the same way for years...where's the B-26? The absence is felt, thank you. An important plane that has been neglected for far too long. I hope the modder working on it finishes it, and soon. Big Grin

I would have a lot more confidence if someone actually knew WHO is working on it.

Re: Martin B-26 Marauder - Aurora - 13.07.2010

I can remember reading on SAS that someone was working on it. I even saw a in game picture so it should come out soon. Big Grin

Re: Martin B-26 Marauder - Murph - 13.07.2010

Actually it's Magpie, the same one who started the project at the RAF662 site. He has now moved to SAS, though his updates seem not to be in the regular Mods section of the site.
