New Improved artillery pieces.
Hey Guys, here you have it finally. Sorry it took so long, longer than I anticipated, but better late than never.Thanks for being patent.
Please take time to read this, for better understanding. Follow read me included and install the folders in the mod folder after extacting, back up .ini and place the new entry as required in proper files. Should work without problems. If you do encounter a problem and I dont get back to you right away, ask on the forum and you should recieve assistance from some of the vets around here.However I will check here periodically and try and help.
NOTE;I use the old AAA modding file system example The Mod Folder. So any newer mod system assistance should be availible on the forum. This is probably due to being busy with these mods and RL Issuses and no time to look close at others.
Artillery
-some of the artillery in the game are just plain aweful and I completely replaced them others are rather good.
-replaced all the old soldiers with better detail ones
-most of the new soldiers have their own dead meshes,so if killed,the artillery wreakage will also include dead soldiers.
-I have included new brit soldiers applied to a couple of USA Art. pieces in its own folder. I think we need more Brit Artillery.
Maybe someone here can apply these british into new proper Artillery slots.
Note; I have'nt done winter skins yet, no time. If you use winter maps you will get stock artillery. I will add winter and desert skins in time. But in the meantime all of you excellent skinners can change the colors to your liking,the possibilities are endless.
Important; put all the new enteries in the techics ini file for these to show up and function properly, also other issuses that correct proper position. For example the game has 4 artillery pieces without characters
1)Rus 25mm AA Cannon
2)Ger 25mm AA Cannon
3)Ger 150mm AA Field Howi
4)Ger 50mm Pak 38
New single soldiers
-added single soldiers with own dead meshes in objects, to add to artillery pieces especially japanese which do not have any dead meshes not yet added
-new BMW Bike with new soldiers and you'll notice the german fuel truck has a new character.
I was going to replace all of the old characters in thenew vehicles, but soon realized it would drag on longer especially for those
people waiting for new links.
I also have but not quite finished for future release, folded artillery and bomb carts for airfields. Hopefully someone can link these with trucks or jeeps for towing.
I want to get back to doing more tanks and vehicles in time.

Installed and everything is fine... Stunning detail, there's no comparison to the standard set, especially for the artillery pieces. The only problem was (again) with the Opel Radio car (the car appears in many guises simultaneously, like wearing a faulty skin); I disabled it in the mod and now it's fine. Congratulations for your brilliant work!

Im glad its installing like it should and working fine.
Oh and the radio truck is the new one, if you getting a problem, then you may still have my old one active in game. The old one may be the one with the anttena set up and should not be moble.
:-? Could someone when they got it working post screenies for people to see what it contains. Iwould have done it but for some reason Infranview just does'nt want to capture IL2 for me in my win7 64bit. I even tryed to DL laterst version. :?: :?: :?:

OK, solved the issue with your Opel Blitz Radio car. It clashed with Rofl's German and Russian Trucks mod (with the same car which I disabled in Rofl's mod) and now I have the brand new radio car! The destroyed artillery pieces with the soldiers' corpses are extremely realistic (sounds morbid taste, but, remember, it's only a game!) 8)
