wierd screen? - Russ_Ace - 09.07.2010

Last night my computer took forever to shut down, i turned it on this morning and its fine. Just before i clicked on the internet, my screen turend blue , not the u virus usual blue screen, but while im typing this my screen is blue and i can see everyting on my monitor screen just whith a blue tint. can anyone help me on what the problem is?

Sounds like a graphic card problem,
Try getting up to date drivers for your graphic card first.

Can be heat related, have you cleaned off dust from inside the PC lately?

Sounds to me like your monitor is is on its way out.

yep i took it too a store and they said it was dead and i need a new one. It was only supost to last 3 year when it lasted 5.
i got a hp 2010i 20" hd ready lcd monitor for $90 ( on sale, store was going out of bisness), its realy good.

I recently plugged my VGA connector into another computer, and everything on the screen had a blue tint instead of white. I found that a pin on the connector had gotten bent. After Straightening it out, all was ok. Possible that you have a bad cable, (or worse yet, a bac card?)
