Mod for Correct SPit IX Tail -
Kopfdorfer - 17.07.2010
Hi GUys,
There used to be a nice mod(that I had) that corrected the shape of the Spitfire MkIX tail to its historical shape (for most production models).
My searches have failed to come up with the mod. Can anyone direct me to a link to it.
Much Thanks,
Kopfdorfer

If there was such a mod, then I would think that it would be around somewhere but It is not on any of the modding sites.

This aircraft will be in HSFX 4.2, and it may be possible to release it sooner if I can get the completed classfiles from Charlie Chap. Its based on the Spitfire MkVIII model, and has the early style rudder with the later type of carburettor filter, which was the most common configuration for the C winged Spitfire MkIX, and an FM for a Spitfire with the Merlin 61 engine. It also has the correct internal armour for the windshield (Ranwers version uses the Spitfire Vb external armour because he wanted the early carburettor filter and the filter is part of the same mesh as the canopy).
