Nice effort, looks quite similar.
Just one thought though, didn't the Hispano HA-1112 have pretty much all Bf109G6 parts except for the engine?

It is just a License built version but because Germany could not provide engines and weapons due to the war effort Spain had to use their own.

Re: Hispano HA-1112 - Guest - 21.07.2010
Well it was licence built so I do not see why they would there would be any difference, if the plane works perfectly for Germany, why would they change it, I'm sure Willy knows what he is doing and besides he is probably smarter than anyone Spain has.
BTW I forgot to mention it is the Bf-109 G2 not G6.
Re: Hispano HA-1112 - nzwilliam - 21.07.2010
Ah, G2, bloody difficult to see any difference without bulges on the hood due to completely different engine and armament. Cheers for that.

LOL, yeah, wikipedia is really only as reliable as the self appointed experts that submit their "knowledge" to it aye, but often it's better than nothing

Basically what I see on the pics is a Bf-109B or C Frankenplane grafted with a 4-blade prop.
Not that much in common with the HA-1112, as there are pretty obvious differences, like
- The engine cowling's shape is the one of the Jumo 210, it has nothing in common with the Merlin cowling of the HA.
- The exhausts' position (low) reflects to the Jumo 210 inverted V design, whereas the Merlin's exhausts are located considerably higher since the Merlin isn't inverted.
- No rounded wingtips.
- Wing cannons missing, instead there are MG-17s visible which aren't part of the HA.
etc. pp., it's nothing more and nothing less than an early 109 with a 4-blade prop on it.
Best regards - Mike

Well he can fix all that if he really wanted to, but it is only a basic representation.

Yes, same feeling here.
I think it's quite a nice idea to have an HA-1112 available, it would be the perfect complement to the Avia S-199 which is available already.

I think a Frankenplane of Hispano HA-1112 with a P-40 nose might work

A Bf 109E-3/4 Stand-in
Hispano HA-1112's as seen in The Battle Of Britain (Film) (1969)
