Photobucket went bonkers - TomFF - 19.07.2010

Hi!
I recently executed a full HD Anti Vir scan, it showed me several files being critical, I deleted them.

I don't know if there's a connection at all, but now mediafire blocks my photo uploads, no matter if jpg or bmp or Mars.photo (lol) and tells me "Upload failed for xx.bmp/jpg with error: File not uploaded"...
..e.g."Upload failed for grab000444.jpg with error: File not uploaded"
Any ideas?

Thanks! :!:

Best bet is get in contact with your Anti-Virus provider and tell them what the problem is, but it sounds to me as if some how image files have been added to some sort of exclusion list some how!!!!.

Thanks, sounds logical!
Will try to contact photobucket's team. Their helpsite offers a nicely hidden contact-addy.

Cheers

Tom

Hello,

I moved this from the IL-2 Technical Help forum to the PC Technical Help forum where it belongs.

Are you sure it was a scan, not scam?

I had a similar issue with Photobucket. My internet explorer told me the site was unsafe and I should not go there. Don't get that warning now for some reason.
