Bubble Canopied P-47 Mirror - Pooch - 22.07.2010

I'm assuming that modding is still going on. I hope, anyway.
I'd like to ask about the Thunderbolts' rear view mirror. The razorback is accurate, but the D-25...not so much. We have it mounted on the top of the windscreen, but, except for some custom jobs done for certain pilots, I've seen most mounted inside the cockpit.
They were hanging from the upper section of the windscreen framing. Fixing this would do two things. First of all, of course, it would put the mirror in it's correct place. Secondly, it would cover up the incorrection in the windscreen, itself. Rather then there having beem two straight metal posts running up to meet the top of the framing, the windscreen was actually a seperate pice of heavy bullet proof glass, and was rounded at the top. Similar to what you see in the P-40.
Covering that up would probably be alot easier than redoing the whole Bubbled Top windscreen.
Any chance that this could be done?
The work done on the Jug cockpit has been terrific. I just couldn't fly it with that old ,default pit. Was awful. This would make it even better. Please consider this. Thanks!
