In Need of 'Sound Mod 0.93' - mattmcgonegle - 25.07.2010
I have UP 2.01n along w/many Mods from here. Found this engine sound enhancement pkg:http://www.mediafire.com/?ny5r3u2tm5x from JAFA via http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejWvcV-0e9I U gotta see this!
D/L'd and put engine .wav files in existing IL-2 1946 ROOT/Files/Samples folder and .prs files in "new" ROOT/Files/Presets/Sounds dir. Game stops loading @ 5%. Loads O.K. if I disable (via minus sign) the Presets dir.
1.Will it utilize the new .wav files in-game if I have ROOT/Files/Presets dir. disabled?
2.I have "Enhanced P-51"mod which loads fine with its' own .wav/.prs files(although don't know if they're actively being used in game-I "want" to hear diff;but it's subjective).Why do these not stop game while loading, but above files do?
3. I need "Sound Mod 0.93" (or most recent).I don't want huge sounds pkg, just a simple file pkg(.dll wrapper???) to activate the ROOT/Files/Presets/Sounds .prs files.
