Mod to simulate brake after number of combat missions - whiskey111 - 26.07.2010
As we know, allied pilots had a break after about 50 combat missions.
In game, when we are wounded, we are going to hospital for few months. Does it possible to use this issue and create mod which will send us after (for example) 50 combat missions for few months break ?
This little upgrade could change campaign for allied pilots as nothing before

In building missions for campaigns, usually I will make a fun mission for my pilot after every ten missions, say take a jeep drive around Australia, of Pearl harbor, use the PT boat mod for a lil sight seeing along the grand canyons Colorado river, then I "fly" em back to the combat zone, or to a new assignment, no need for a mod, just a lil imagination mate!!

When you are goint to hospital (after wounded in action) it means you are not involved into the fights for few months. The same could do this mod. This is the main difference between allied and german fighters. The number of combat missions you have done. German pilots flew all the time because the couldn't go for longer rest and allied pilots had longer breaks after some number of combat missions. But I think you have no idea about what I'm talking about.

Usually the time off was dictated by theater, Command policies and such, I have an idea of what you are talking about, you are speaking of perhaps a DGEN campaign, with time outs for wounded and such, I am speaking on my part of campaign building and integrating break times into the campaign itself.
