B29 Superfortress - PART 2 - redko - 05.08.2010

Hi guys.

Here is the second part of the serie of movies I called B29 Superfortress.

This time the scene take place more on the eyes of the B29's crew while part one used P51's pilote point of view. The story incist on the bombing aspect and the drama, both for pilotes than civilians on the ground. I hope you will like this one too....same documentary style than Part 1.

Also to take advantage of this one, put the sound loud as there a BIG work done for the sound aspect. Machine sounds, wind, explosions, water, flak, alarms, metal...all is added over Tiger sound mod. For exemple, for the flak scene, the pic is from a real WW2 footage showing japanese anti aircraft guns, but the sound comes from an italian WW2 footage as in the japanese film there is a speaker....

All this is funny to make.

Ok and for the guys who are gonna ask what's the link bewteen the girl and the b29 ......? :roll:

The idea was to chose the Tea Ceremony, one of the finest act of the human culture (among others...) to make a contrast between "culture" and "barbarity".

Excellent movie by the way Quite sad at the end about the planes getting lost in the pacific
But can not wait until part 3 comes out
And still loving the contrast between Il-2 and real life

Yea great minds, it couldn't be something else :wink: .
Ok the movie is sadder, the theme decides this. There is many "heroic" movies about il2 on youtube forgetting there were real people behind. I read some fight reports speaking about missing planes never returned to their base on Guam and other Us HQ...sad to die after aving survived to so many things before...

I think part 3 will be about A bomb on Nagasaki, as there is no Hiroshima on that map. We will see.

I want to make one about "Supercharge Operation" in El Alamein.....i have to finish my new desert textures first.
