Navyhawk, I'm pretty sure all the various mod activators, HSFX, UP, SAS, do at the least, make the former AI-only planes flyable. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

The oldest activator, the AAA mod activator already made ~30 planes flyable, the "Big pack" HSFX and Ultrapack make even more.

What plane you would like to fly?

I woulds like to fly all the origanal non-flyables. Non of these guides are built for people that rarely go on computers. Please repley

Download HSFX or ultrapack. It's just a simple installer.

Re: Questions and ideas - Guest - 15.08.2010

Does Hsfx of whatever its called have all the origanial nonn-flyables?

Yes

If you download hsfx does it instantly give you all flyable? And what does Hsfx stand for.

Hi,

Try my guide:

HSFX is a modding community mod pack. It has a bunch of previous unflyable and unavailable aircraft, as well as many mods for IL-2.

Re: Questions and ideas - Fireskull - 16.08.2010

Oh, almost forgot:

HSFX means History SFX. (FX as in Effects and S for squadron?)

The mod pack has almost all the flyable aircraft not in beta.

This squadron is the host of the mod pack:

What does beta mean?

Re: Questions and ideas - Fireskull - 16.08.2010

Beta means that something is being tested, sometimes available to the public during evaluation, before being released and annouced as a final publication. In Beta, something is being examined by testers to verify suitability for the end-users. Alpha is only the development stage.

SFX= Sound effects?

Maybe "S" stand for sound ("Sounds and Effects"), because it has new sounds

Re: Questions and ideas - 8FS_Bulau - 17.08.2010

I though SFX was the compression method used to make the SFS files.
