Ultrapack installation - Fin_ace - 19.08.2010

I have IL-2 1946 4.09m and HSFX 4.1 on it and few separate mods installed in it.
Do UP 2.01 need a clean install of 4.09m or can i install it over the other mods?
I am downloading UP 2.01 data2.cab and data3.cad, do i need a previous version of UP to run this properly?

UltraPack 2.01 requires a plain vanilla IL-2 1946 4.09m installation. No mods, no HSFX (it's included in UltraPack and can be activated via JSGME if required).
You don't need any previous version of UltraPack in order to install 2.01.
It's recommended to run the Updater once when UP 2.01 is up and running in order to get the latest patches and updates for UP 2.01. You can find the Updater in the UltraPack program group ("Ultr@Pack Update & Restore").

I runned the UP setup and it asks for disk 1 that contains data2.cab WHAT DISK?

You could have bad files.
