where can i find the Mods folder - cgul22 - 28.08.2010
i cant find the mods folder in the c drive then in il2

Do you have any mod activator, like SAS mod activator?
A big pack like Ultrapack or HSFX?
Just plain game patched to 4.09?

Some UP 2.01 installs do not create a MODS ( in capitals ) folder, you need to create one, inside the IL-2 46 folder, for new planes.

i have a UP 2.01 install so what i just make a "MODS" folder in the il2 folder

where would i put the air.ini lines in also i was told to puth mod in jsgmemods folder inside that folder i then put the mods folder in it make a files folder and put all files in it i then activate but my mod is nowhere to be seen

JSGME already has it's own folder in the main directory: jsgmemods

2- in it create STD folder.
3- in STD, copy com folder from Files folder.(contains air.ini deep inside, and more..)
4- in STD, copy folder i18n from Files folder.(contains air_ru.properties, weapons_ru.properties and more..)
5- create (do not copy) gui folder in STD.
6- create game folder in gui folder.
7- get and place latest buttons(Mods) from SAS, place into this game folder.(..do this eventually..)
8- ( you may place any custom game background in gui).
