question about ultrapack - BF109boy - 29.08.2010

currently my game has UI 1.1... old tech. i will be transferring the game to anotehr comp soon, but i need to know... does the game have to be upgraded at all for UP to be installed, or can it be stock?

You need the stock game 4.07m [ disk ]- NO MODS at this point clean.
patch 4.08m - run game to insure it works
patch 4.09m - run game.

Now install UP 2.01

Installing anything after you installed the UI will result in your IL-2 not running. The UI content is included in the HSFX 4.1 but you must not have a separate UI installed or anything that you install after that will make your IL-2 not function.

Sorry, but no, U.I. 1.1 is NOT 4.08m, and U.I. 1.2 is NOT 4.09m. You need to abandon your U.I. installs, and start with a fresh clean install of the game, and then the official patches, exactly as skyomish explained. The U.I. were all based on the outdated beta patch, 4.09b1m, which is incompatible with UltraPack 2.01.
