Help to get cleaner screenshots and movies - Oscarito - 09.09.2010

Hi!

Please, could someone tell me how to get a completely clean image? I mean, absolutely no messages on screen.
I have both "NoHudLog=1" (conf.ini) and "Immersive Hud" (JSMGE) enabled but some messages are still active (power x%, etc.).
Any help will be fully appreciated.

Thank you! :wink:

Hi,

One thing that you can do is to "disable inflight messages" in the window control panel that appears after you push the button to save a track.

This is available on already saved tracks, too, when the window appears, giving you options which include "disable inflight messages".

If you don't want to record in a track, I think there's also an option in the conf.ini under [game]:

NoSubTitles=0
NoChatter=0
NoHudLog=0

Change the 0s to 1s and your screen should be "clean." :mrgreen:

[Image: fdt8.jpg] And find a nice photo editing program like Gimp which is free or Photoshop, both these programs are excellent for editing out things you don't want in your pictures.
