tired of looking to the right... - herminator - 11.09.2010
Hi all,
i'm running a vanilla IL-2 1946 installation.
Whenever i get in the 3-D world, my view is stuck to the extreme (back) right and whatever key/hat i press, it always returns. Good to watch your wingmen, a mess for the rest.
I'v tried an old top gun II and the X-52 to check if the joy-switches are ok. both show the same picture.
I run the sim in SP3 XP compatability mode.
Any hints?

Check in 'Controls' under the HOTAS section and see what your views are set to.
Reset them if you have to by clicking on the appropriate view set with your mouse and then move the Joystick hat to the appropriate position.
Should clear it up for you.

Sounds like Trackiruse is set to 1 in your conf.ini. If you don't have a TrackIR or use other headtracking software this should be set to 0.
Cheers, Neil

Yeah, it's the trackIR, freetrack made some changes to my conf.ini without notifying so I have had the same problem as herminator.

Thanks a bunch for the quick response, guys!
Will check that when I'm home. Freetrack... hmmm, sounds familiar
Cheers,

Hours & hours of 360 deg. view simulation fun lie ahead of me!
Thanks again guys, trackiruse=0 did the trick!
