Look I know this has probably been asked before but I want to know.What happened to all the updates?Did all work stop(canceled)?

Team Daidalos was given all the knowledge, keys, and tools to create and manage all IL-2 development, at least officially. It was negotiated last Spring.
Recently, over the summer, TD finished adding content and completing their creations. They are now testing and should release IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 V4.10 in the near future. With it are nice third party creations, too.

It is taking much longer to release than originally projected, but I suppose it will be released eventually. I suspect that much of the hold-up may be due to the challenges of making all of the new add-on material work together without conflicts. Anybody who has had the game crash because of a conflict between mods (most of us) can appreciate this.
The original release date for 4.10 was last March. We are now 7 months behind that, I just hope it doesn't turn out to be a year overdue.
Good things come to those who wait.
