Where to put 1946's folders? - Outlaw2101 - 26.11.2010
G'day!
Well 1946 finally arrived. But I'm having trouble... Where do I put 1946's folders? How do I open the application without the disk? I have been waiting 2 painstaking weeks for it to arrive, and now to run into trouble with the setup just hanging, the whole opening-up-the-folder process freezing up my PC, It's just too much...
In the setup, it just get's to the 'Preparing to Install' window and just freezes. I can't exit it or anything. I go to Ctrl-Alt-Delete to get task manager, it doesn't come up so I have to re-boot the computer. PLEASE HELP! I am Using Windows Vista SP2. I got the original Il2 to work but 1946 won't. Help please!
Cheers...
Jake.

Good day, Outlaw
Are you installing IL-2 in an Administrator User Account? Try that, if not. Also, running IL-2 in Compatibility Mode for Windows XP Service Pack 2 is the key for some people.
