Any way to simulate a V2 - Hairog - 05.12.2010

Do you mean you want to launch the V2? It is possible to do in the FMB, like the V1.

Ipossible AFAIK because the V-2 travelled at Hypersonic SPeeds(Mach 5+) Through to over 80 Kilometers in Altitude(That is where sattelites orbit the Earth) so there is your answer, besides I already tried it.

But from what I hear one exists in Ultra pack but it doesn't have the capabilities mentioned above and therefore flies like a V-1.

In fact I tried it in FMB and it is possible. Of course it is not realistic but at least you can launch those things.

i want to fly it, like teakoff on the ground standing upright...sure it wont have the right handeling but some one did it for the v-1sooo...

I messed with them and got them to work. When they land they just fall from the sky like a plane etc. No sign of the real speed at all. They land in random areas without doing much damage. Very unsatisfying. Smile

Specs for the V2 (A4) missle:

It carried a 2,000pound warhead at speeds of about 3,600 mph and had a range of about 220 miles. The high, arching flight of the V2 carried it to an attitude of about 100 miles.
