If you have an already installed IL-2 on an old HDD - you even don't need to install it again.
At least I didn't. Not the Original, not HSFX, not UP. I just copied them onto a new HDD with
Win7 Pro into a new Partition, like D: etc... works like a charm!

Confirm that ! Il-2 doesn't require to be install every time. Just copy it into any partition

Install it outside program files and it works fine.

Works well on my mine, even runs better then when I had it on Vista.
All my old(10+ years) games I tested on it and they run really well, because they designed Win7 to specifically be able to run XP programs without trouble.
