Re: Ho-229 Spaceman - MrGoldfinger - 06.12.2010

Not NASA - it was the German Air Force in 1944-45, the suit was one of some testsuits of the german firm Draeger.
This was one example for using at high altitude, pressure suits.

What I mean is that US and Russians seized all the secret weapons prototypes
, designs and every invention the Germans created...
The Americans developed their missile technology out of the V-2, Russians as well. Mig-9 has two evolved German engines, and Northrop
developed their Flying Wing series... et.c
Thanks for the links...
The last photo, makes the guy look like a Robot !

You haven't seen TV shows of the fifties, space horror and invaders from space in black and white such as the Twilight Zone (1959) apparently:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Twilight_Zone

In it is described a movie that inspired the series:
"The Time Element" (1958) is an interesting SF movie about time travel, and
events of PEARL HARBOR ATTACK; I remember that one, and I recommend it to any Pearl Harbor Attack fan from IL-2...
