Question for those who use AMD X4 965 or 970 - HusarDerLuft - 15.12.2010
Just wanted to know how good the CPU fan is, that is included with this processor.
Does it keep the CPU pretty cool? If you do some moderate overclocking will it overheat much?
I just want to know if I should buy a different CPU cooler or stick to the one that comes in the box.
I have a pretty good computer case with excellent ventilation in which I can put about 5 fans, #1 best thermal paste and so on..
Do I need to buy a different CPU cooler?

The stock fan will be fine as long as you don't overclock.
If you're going to over clock, (AMD Especially), look into after market air cooling or water cooling.
Failure to do so will most likely end up leaving you with a fairly pricey paperweight.
S!
