[MOD] firework effects - archer - 31.12.2010
Hi all,
I made another effect mod
With this mod every flak looks like firework.
There are also some other changes like: sparks behind 50cal bullets, sparks behind rockets and firework when you hit objects.
I made 3 different versions, all in a seperate .rar file.

Do I need to upload the files to another download site? because mediafire is 95% commercials and pop ups.

firework effect mod.
This mod has 6 diferent parts in 3 .rar files
The 3 .rar files contain firework effects.
- One is realistic: firework effects real.rar
- 2nd is imagined, it explodes in circles of light: fireworkeffects Ve.rar
- 3th is also imagined, but it has light flashes like the realistic effects: fireworkeffects Ve2.rar
every .rar file has 2 seperate effect mods.

the (00 Foxtrot Delta effect firworks Ve full) map in (fireworks Ve.rar) replaces almost all effects in game.
Most effects are an updated version from my first effect mod Charly Golf, I think they look really nice.
Some have been changed to look like fireworks
You can extract the .rar to your mod folder than the 2 maps will be there..
If you want to use the full effect mod put a - in front of other effect mod maps.
do not only use 00 Fox Charly fireworks Ve, because then you will also see original effects like fire and ground explosions and those don't look good.
If you don't want to use the other effects except for the firework you need to use (00 Fox Charly fireworks Ve) copy the effects and 3DO map into the other effect mod map you want to keep,
and overide files if asked by the computer.
then you will keep your effects except for the modded firework effects.
Some effects need class files so if you don't use the full version you won't see all the effects like 50 call tracer sparks.
I suggest you use the full mods because it's easier to install and you will see all the modded effects.
You can just use 1 version at a time.

Wich firework colour for wich guns?
big red is for mid air exploding flak shells from allies
big blue is for mid air exploding flak shells from axis
smaller green is for allied 20mm AAA
smaller purple is for german 25mm AAA
Bofor AAA: green fireworks
allied 85 mm AAA: red fireworks
axis 85mm AAA: blue fireworks
axis 25mm AAA: purple fireworks
allied 25mm AAA: purple fireworks
Missle explosion: red fireworks
different missle explosion: blue fireworks
AB mid air explosion: blue fireworks

cannon fire generates sparks.
Ve fireworks 50 cal tracers: sparks behind them. yellow firework when they hit objects.
real firework: special bullet ground hit. and firework when you hit something with bullets.
lots of sparks behind rockets.

only use effects=1 or effects=0 in the conf.ini

But you have the same link for all 3 fireworks (and same file name)... is this a mistake? It looks like :wink:

I think you can only use the full versions with JGSME.
It are normal effect mods so I guess you can turn them on and off
