What exactly is the HSFX Mod? - Herr_Falke - 06.01.2011
After 4 years away from Il2, i need to get updated on all the goodies that seem to be available now. That said, What exactly is the HSFX Mod? What does it do, what is in it, what does it offer etc?

no need to make more than one thread for the same question.
HSFX is a pack of mods. HSFX is part of UltraPack, UP has alot more mods but dont ask me how or what i only have HSFX at this moment
HSFX comes with simple stuff like new planes and maps, visual tweaks, and sound changes and you can download more mods when you want to, like the "Gore" mod, from all kinds of IL-2 places, and theres a Mods switcher so you can change what mods you want on the spot and is able to let you switch back to the original 4.09 if you want, also you can save a profile so you can turn on the mods you had on before

Oh. One more question. I will wait until the mods can be used with 4.10 (or the 4.101 they're currently talking about) , but once that occurs, is there any particular order that HSFX and or UP should be installed?
Note: Unless I'm really "wowed" by all the mods and their possibilites, I really only plan on using mods like new engine sound and a few other small things, so at present, I don't plan on making major changes to the sim.

Both HSFX and UP also include a great many more new and excellent maps, which 4.10 does not have.
