Lag over cities - Crazy G - 16.01.2011

I have a 4.09b1m install with some selected mods and after some years I´ve just uptaded my rig to:

Intel i7 950 Bloomfield 3.06GHz
Gigabyte X58A UD3r Rev.2.0
Gigabyte GTX 580
G.Skill RipJaws DDR3 1600 6GB
SSD G.Skill Phoenix Pro 60GB
WDC Raptor WD360GD-00FNA0
WDC WD5000AAKS-00V1A
Corsair TX850W
Win 7 64 bits Ultimate

...and I couldn´t believe that I still got lag over cities. I´ve just flown a scramble mission on LAL Normandy map near Caen and over the city very low fps and lag. How come?! By the way I´m heavily over clocked, CPU to 4.02GHz and GPU to 855/1710/2114.

P.S. With the vanilla 4.10 I barely have lags over towns. Do you believe I´ll need a fresh install?

CPU isnt everything, GPU is very important too

It sounds like 4.09-B1M that's coursing it to lag. So here's my advise; fresh install (keep your Mods) patch it up to 4.09M then Ultra@Pack or HSFX. Only until 4.10 is compatible with UP or HSFX.

Sobre las ciudades siempre hay menos fps, IL-2 muy mal optimizado, es la hitoria de siempre, a todo el mundo le ocurre.

You have an awesome team!!!, congratulations.
On cities there is always less fps, IL-2 very poorly optimized, is the old story, everyone it will occasionally happen.
