Crashes with Slovakia winter textures? - mandrill7 - 16.01.2011

I have been testing my Belarus map with winter Slovakia textures and the summer slovakia trees. Things seemed okay when I hadn't yet placed any objects. However, with only about 500 kb of objects on the map, I am getting continual crashes.

The crashes do not seem to occur with the summer textures, which are standard Romania textures.

I have switched to lowres Slovakia textures, but it doesn't help much.

I am using a brand new 64 bit Windows 7 OS with a massive 8 GB of RAM and a 1 GB NVIDIA GeForce GT220 M205 vid card.

Anyone know what is happening?
