Is there a certain version 3DMAX that is compatible with IL-2 or will 2009 or later do? Thanks for your time.

Gumpy is right max 2009 works the best with the IL2 export plug-in that we have.

I have 2010 but why is 2009 any better with the Exporter we have?

Because the IL2 exporter DLL was written for 2009 and if the Max firm
Aoto Cad changed anything in 2010 or 11 then it may not work as
Well, I don't have 2010 or 11 but I do have a full paid for 2009 that
I got back in late 2008 when it first came out and the IL2 exporter
Works very good with no issues with it.

2010 here, does not work correctly every time but restart fixes it.
