Steam - Rowddy - 08.03.2011

Is it true that in order to Fly Cliffs of Dover you need Steam?? If that's the case (i might be premature) i will never buy Cliffs of Dover. Steam is the biggest crap you can ever imagine and i will never ever allow it on my PC. So i hope the rumour isn't true, otherwise i have waited for years for nothing Sad

Steam, idk who thought steam would be a good idea if that's the case...

Steam is a pain in the tailwheel

Re: Steam - KG64_Cnopicilin - 09.03.2011

If it requires steam you can get modified steamAPI.DLL which is used in every anti-steam crack or illegal release of the game.

Re: Steam - RadPig94 - 09.03.2011

so far i've read that Steam could be optional, but dont hold your breath yet (sincei can hold mine for about 2 minutes anyways Smile ), details haven't been released

Re: Steam - Planemad - 09.03.2011

Well either way doesn't matter for me - I have Steam

Would be nice if it wasn't on Steam

Re: Steam - tomoose - 09.03.2011

I have a few games on Steam (i.e. ArmA II, Civ V, Left4dead) and no complaints. As long as they don't take away the "single player/offline" option I'm OK with it.

Re: Steam - stuka_40 - 09.03.2011

As long as it contains steam I will not buy COD, and it will go to history grave like "Rise Of Flight" did because of DRM activation.

Re: Steam - Logan/we the few - 09.03.2011

Right there with you Stuka, I was really looking forward to this game but now..nahh I'll just stick with 1946. I dont mind the LOMAC Flamimg cliffs Starforce ( about every week or two I have to put the CD in to "verify" its my game) But this crap..no thanks Oleg, I'll pass. All the Hype and then, oh by the way you must have a steam account. Dont have one, dont want one. Screw COD, what is it like six years and Two Weeks TM over due anyway? Whatever.

Re: Steam - Ace001 - 14.03.2011

Steam is okay. Mostly for the Source SDK games. But the support is really really bad.

Re: Steam - cammoammo - 16.03.2011

Re: Steam - Jambo - 16.03.2011

You may have a look here: http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=19089

I think this poll there, might be more important than anywhere else?
And strangely enough - everywhere I look, people are grumbling and a few not - and then this result? Confusedhock:
You should go there and vote as well!? I did...

Jambo

Re: Steam - Rowddy - 16.03.2011

yup saw thatpoll and did it aswell Smile just wondering who did all yes votes?? UBISOFT themself? Big Grin

Re: Steam - skyomish - 16.03.2011

That poll is rigged from the get -go.
Every poll I have looked at shows people
4-1 against Steam. Makes one wonder who is voting.

Re: Steam - XLO-JOKER - 16.03.2011

I wont be spending MY hard earned money on COD if "steaming pile"" is involved. As they say: Just my two cents. Smile

XLO-JOKER...........OUT...........
